Ingrid Solberg
Ingrid Solberg has led Halcyon Stellar Works as Chief Executive Officer since 2181, steering the company from a regional shuttle builder into a nineteen-hull shipyard with orbital yards at Shackleton Base and the Olympus Ring. She began her career as a cargo dispatcher in the Belt and still describes the Atlas Heavy Freighter as "the ship that paid for everything else."
Under her leadership Halcyon committed to the Meridian Colony Ark, the largest single investment in the company's history at roughly 8,950 million credits per hull, and green-lit the Eidolon Lightsail Prototype as a long-term bet on interstellar travel. She insists every programme publish its fuel economy and true commissioning cost, a policy that customers and partners now cite as a reason they trust the yard.
Ingrid works from Kepler Yards on L5 Lagrange Station and spends roughly a third of the year visiting partner fleets in person.
Colleagues describe her as relentlessly curious about the shop floor. She still sits in on at least one design review a month and keeps a framed photo of the first Kestrel delivery behind her desk.
