People of Halcyon: Mateo Silva

Behind every ship there are people. This month we introduce Mateo Silva, Chief Test Pilot in Flight Operations.

Their day-to-day work draws on experimental flight testing, envelope expansion and emergency procedures, and they mentor newer engineers and operators on these topics as well.

Asked what keeps them motivated, Mateo Silva talks about watching a ship they helped build head out toward the outer system.

Catch Mateo Silva live at Olympus Ring Yard Open Days.
