Hana Park

Hana Park is a satellite data scientist at the Olympus Ring yard above Mars. She analyses imagery and spectra from Halcyon's survey satellites and from Valkyrie Survey Corvette missions, producing mineral maps used by Belt and Martian prospectors.

Hana also works with the Nimbus Gas Skimmer team on atmospheric composition data from Jupiter and Saturn.

Hana completed her doctorate in planetary spectroscopy on Mars and has spent most of her career looking at rocks from orbit. She is a regular speaker at science conferences, publishes her mineral maps under open licences, and works with the open data team to make sure prospectors and researchers can find the data they need quickly and easily.
