The Gravitas Dock Barge leaves the cradle

A new Orbital construction barge has joined the Halcyon catalogue. The Gravitas Dock Barge lifted off for its maiden sortie on December 2179, and the flight crew came back grinning.

This vessel is built around a crew of 26, of whom 3 sit at the helm. Its hold takes 18,000 tonnes of payload, and its 340 m hull was designed to be serviced at any Halcyon orbital yard.

Endurance was the brief from day one. With a reach of 6 AU and a top velocity of 45 km/s, the Gravitas Dock Barge covers routes that used to need two hulls and a transfer stop.

Pricing for a fully outfitted unit begins at ₡330 million. Early customers get priority delivery from our Olympus Ring and Shackleton Base yards.
