Why Shackleton Regolith Works chose the Cascade Dropship

When Shackleton Regolith Works wanted more capacity for its Earth business, it compared ships from every major yard. In the end it ordered 6 Cascade Dropship hulls from Halcyon Stellar Works.

Founded in 2117 and headquartered at Luna, Shackleton Regolith Works needed a Heavy planetary lander that a small flight crew of 2 could run safely over long rotations.

The company's fleet planners cited low operating costs and fast turnaround at Halcyon yards as the deciding factors.

The first ships are already in service, with the rest of the order arriving over the coming quarter.
