A day in the life of Oksana Hrytsenko, Ion Propulsion Specialist

What does a Ion Propulsion Specialist actually do all day? We asked Oksana Hrytsenko from our Propulsion group.

Mornings usually start with a review of fleet telemetry, then hours of focused work on electric propulsion, ion thrusters and station-keeping. Afternoons are full of design reviews and calls with partners across the system.

Oksana Hrytsenko will share more of this work at Olympus Ring Yard Open Days. If you are thinking about a career in spaceflight, it is a talk worth attending.
