People of Halcyon: Leilani Akana

Behind every ship there are people. This month we introduce Leilani Akana, Cockpit UX Designer in Design.

Their day-to-day work draws on cockpit UX, interaction design and accessibility, and they mentor newer engineers and operators on these topics as well.

Asked what keeps them motivated, Leilani Akana talks about watching a ship they helped build head out toward the outer system.

Catch Leilani Akana live at Sparrow Trainer Flight School Launch.
