Test Pilots Society Symposium

Mateo Silva presents the Aurora Mk II envelope expansion campaign, and Zanele Dlamini discusses evaluating the Corvid Stealth Scout's low-signature handling.

Sessions cover test methods, instrumentation and pilot workload in single-seat craft. Mateo will share how the Aurora Mk II's top speed of 1,450 km/s was reached step by step during flight tests, and what the team learned about handling and heat at those speeds. Zanele will describe how pilots evaluate a ship designed to be hard to detect, including tests of thermal signature, sensor masking and cockpit workload for a single pilot on long patrols.

The symposium also includes sessions from other test pilot schools, a simulator challenge and an awards dinner.
