First look at the Polaris Relay Tender, our newest Satellite servicing tender

Every new Halcyon design starts with one question: what does the person at the controls actually need? For the Polaris Relay Tender, the answer produced a Satellite servicing tender that 2 pilots can fly comfortably on long shifts.

Since its first flight on May 2182, the Polaris Relay Tender has shown a top speed of 330 km/s and a working endurance of 55 AU. Its Xenon ion propellant drive uses about 1.4 tonnes per 100 AU, well below what we predicted.

Inside the 88 m hull there is space for 7 crew and 320 tonnes of cargo. Every compartment can be reached by maintenance drones without taking the ship out of service.

Commissioning costs from ₡118 million. Book a walkthrough at any Halcyon campus and see the Polaris Relay Tender up close.
