Why Southern Cross Flight Academy chose the Wren Microlifter

When Southern Cross Flight Academy wanted more capacity for its Earth business, it compared ships from every major yard. In the end it ordered 8 Wren Microlifter hulls from Halcyon Stellar Works.

Founded in 2161 and headquartered at Oceania, Southern Cross Flight Academy needed a Surface-to-orbit lifter that a small flight crew of 1 could run safely over long rotations.

The company's fleet planners cited low operating costs and fast turnaround at Halcyon yards as the deciding factors.

The first ships are already in service, with the rest of the order arriving over the coming quarter.
