Valparaíso Design Week

How do you make a cabin feel like home six weeks from Earth? Valparaíso Design Week brings together Halcyon's designers and engineers to discuss interiors, materials and the passenger experience.

Interior Design Lead Thiago Santos presents the spin-gravity lounges of the Halcyon Starliner. Head of Industrial Design Noa Ben-David talks about designing the Seraph Medevac trauma ward so that two pilots and nine crew can work around twelve patients without collisions. Lead Systems Engineer Lucía Ferreira explains how design decisions ripple into wiring, mass budgets and life support.

Students from local universities will exhibit concept cabins, and the best entry will be developed further with the Halcyon interiors team in the coming year.

Open to designers, architects, students and curious locals. Each evening ends with a studio walk-through and refreshments on the terrace.
